Villa Iluka by SooBali

Our family of 13 had an amazing stay at Villa Iluka by Soo Bali Villas. The villa was beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally well maintained, providing the perfect setting for our family holiday. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, spend time together, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Vayan and Katud, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to help with anything we needed truly made a difference. Their hospitality reflected the very best of Balinese service. Everything was seamless throughout our stay, and we left with wonderful memories that we will cherish for years to come. We would highly recommend Villa Iluka to anyone looking for a beautiful villa experience in Bali, especially for larger family groups.

A few lizards here and there but that did not ruin the experience

Location was great. Breakfast was mostly good. Villa size was great. Staff were friendly

Many issues in villa. Mould was obviously present in 2 of the 7 bedrooms, signs of painting over mould on backs of doors and the smell in those bedrooms was very strong. Many of the bedroom air con did not work, they organised a maintenance call out which only helped slightly. Fan in at least 1 bedroom didn't work. Beach towels didn't seem to be changed daily, so alot of times wet towels and when asked if dry ones, we would get bath towels? I was also super disappointed with the airport transportation organised, it was a very old dingy van and after getting off flight and arriving into bali mid morning it was pretty hot and air con was probably working at a 4/10. For the same and even cheaper price could have had a couple of newer nicer air con vans. I didnt realise the villa staff would be present at the villa all day 7am-8pm. We have had previous villa staff be available during the day asking what they could do to help, or get for us or can they organise cars etc. Just very present and available. The villa staff at Iluka were there but in their room all day, so we were never sure what we could ask them to do and not do. After cleaning the villa in the morning, we didnt see them unless we paged them. Just found that odd?

Location --> 10 out of 10, no questions asked, simply walking distance to everywhere and located inside a cul de sac street, so peaceful and quiet! Villa --> has a great floorplan, much bigger from photos, the playground + karaoke room is so rare to find, very homey! Service --> 6 stars, the housekeepers and manager went extra miles to be at our disposal, kudos to Bali hospitality!

The villa is so difficult to book for a longer term ( 2 weeks or more ) - it is always full or only irregular days left, not the villa's fault but maybe they should consider minimum stay for 10 days per stay for example knowing they are so popular? Would increase their occupancy ratio for sure?

Property is phenomenal, it’s just like the pictures - even better. The staff were great as well.

Only comments are that the beds were rock hard. Like… solid. And the villa wasn’t super helpful in the weeks before our stay with trying to organize things there so we organized everything externally and ourselves. But once there they were great and helpful.
