Jimmy and the whole Coliemore staff were delightful. It felt like we knew the staff for years & they were so authentic - really appreciated all their recommendations on what to see during our stay, what food we’d like best & how to stay safe in Dublin when we were sightseeing. The location was perfect & I recommend this as a fantastic place to stay if you want a legit village experience. Apparently, per Jimmy & his team, there are some serious celebs that either come to town or have homes in Dalkey. So we were READY to try to not act bananas when we caught a glimpse. Sadly, this was the only disappointment of our time in Dalkey. Next time! And there definitely will be a next time cuz the Coliemore was a highlight of our trip!

Oh just one tiny thing - the scent thingy in the room was really strong so we unplugged ours. There was no bad or stale smell that we thought it might be trying to cover up though - there was nothing - and the scent was just a little strong to my liking.

The food was superb and the staff was too!

Great location to town, friendly enough staff at the pub next store where collect the keys. Rooms were small and plain, but comfortable and reasonably priced for the overpriced Dalkey accommodation choices.

Our room had a TV but no remote (im sure all i needed to do was ask, but did not notice till after the night out).

Das Zimmer war zwar geräumig, es gab aber weder einen Schrank auch kein Regal um Kleidung unterzubringen! Es gab keinen Tisch, nur einen Sessel und anfangs wusste auch niemand wo der Föhn war. Einzig das housekeeping gab mir irgendwann einen. Dort wird das Nebengebäude vom Pub offensichtlich genutzt um zusätzlich Einkünfte zu erzielen!

Kein Schrank kein Regal, nur ein Sessel keine Löffel um den Kaffee umrühren zu können!
