It was the best stay we have ever had. The accommodation is beautiful. The view is an absolute dream. Alan is a great host. Helpful with bookings for boat trips or dinner reservations. We would come back anytime.

"Excellent few days on a beautiful island."

The view from our room was fantastic. Breakfast was good and Alan our host was excellent. Could not do enough for you

The bathroom in our first room was poor. Door needs painting, shower curtain was grubby and needs replacing. There was quite a bit of rustiness, dirt etc in the bathroom which was what I would expect in a b&b nowadays. The floorboards in the bedroom did not join up in parts. These are small things that can easily be remieded to bring it up a standard. Before I retired, I dealt with quite a few hotels giving advice on what they needed to do. In fairness, Alan did move us to a different and better room.

"Skellig Michael/Valentia Island stay"

Alan was very accommodating. We arrived in the later side with no idea what to do for dinner. He had made a dinner reservation for us at the local restaurant. We also changed our departure time due to our Skellig Michael tour and he accommodated our breakfast time accordingly. Valentia Island is a gem!

Wonderful location with amazing view. Great host who gave us a wonderful welcome. Lovely home-cooked breakfast. Bedroom was comfortable and clean. Slightly retro feel to lounge and common areas.

Bathroom needed an upgrade and was tiny.

We had a room with an amazing view on the sea ( it is really worth it to choose a room with view on sea). The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. Alan ( the host) was kind and funny. We had a really nice time.
