Riverbank House Bed and Breakfast Innishannon

Our stay at Riverbank House was faultless. Heather went above and beyond to accommodate us. The house is stunning and our room was so comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Beautifully refurbished rural accommodation operated by a warm, welcoming couple. A highlight of travel. Large comfortable room and ensuite with bath and great water pressure!

Loved everything about it.

What a lovely house and amazing hosts too. Our room was really comfortable and quiet, with a lovely view of the garden. We were within easy reach of Inishannon itself and also Kinsale where we went for our evening meal. The information pack was very comprehensive, including some facts about the history of the house. The breakfast was also wonderful, with lots of choice. Thank you.

The hospitality was excellent, and the host couple was very friendly and helpful .we would like to stay with them on the next trip. Great gardens and walking trails.

No issues

From the moment we arrived we felt we were in heaven. We received a warm and helpful welcome from Heather and Adam. The house and it’s location are beautiful. The garden is gorgeous and is home to Adam’s bees, which provide yummy honey for breakfast, the hens Barbara and Margot gave us delicious eggs and the vegetable garden provided sweet tomatoes which Heather cooked to perfection. Homemade jams were delicious on our toast. The linen is high quality and everything at Riverbank House exceeds expectations. Do yourself a favour and stay more than one night.

Adam and Heather our hosts are a wonderful couple. Heather went out of her way to provide us with lots of helpful advice on where to go and what to see. The house is full of charm and history and the gardens and grounds are very beautiful. A red Robin lives in their garden, that you can hand feed .

Beautiful older house in a stunning quiet setting.

Had imagined it was a little closer of a drive to Kinsale. This wasn’t a huge problem in the end. We did a lot of driving though. With no time to relax and enjoy the property.
