"Great a lovely house and friendly socialable hosts would definitely visit again."

The house was situated on the edge of the village, with plenty of parking. We arrived after midnight as our ferry was three hours late due to a mechanical problem. Our host Cathy was most accommodating and stayed up to greet us and show us to our room. At breakfast we were offered a choice of food and went for smoked salmon, poached eggs and avocado, followed by yogurt and fruit. The breakfast is one of the best we have ever had in any accommodation. It was a pity we could only stay for one night.

Everything was perfect as far as we were concerned.

If you are in the area of Bunclody, this is a fantastic place to stay. Truly a 10/10 in all categories. It was within walking distance of my ancestors’ church and Cathy shared local genealogy resources on her website. We visited the Nine Stones on Cathy’s recommendation and enjoyed the breath-taking scenery.

Es la combinación ganadora que todos los viajeros buscamos: 1) Anfitrión Confiable y SÚPER amable, 2) Lugar como si estuviera en mi HOGAR y 3) Precio excelente por la Calidad que recibes. Cathy es una mujer no solo amable, si no que representa la hospitalidad Irlandesa, nos dio tips excelentes y gracias a ella pudimos conocer una montaña que solo “locales” conocen entre otros consejos muy útiles para el resto de nuestro viaje. Aparte de eso el desayuno impecable y delicioso, cama perfecta, cuarto hermoso con vista, muy buen internet, bañera con buena presión de agua y temperatura, ni para qué el tamaño de la habitación, más grande de lo que esperaba. En fin amigo viajero, no lo piense 2 veces, reserve en Mon Petit Cottage, luego me lo agradece 😉.

The hospitality, room, breakfast and location were exceptional. The coffee roasting demonstration was a nice touch. Cathy and Paul went above and beyond to ensure a welcoming stay.
