The property is maintained to keep its historic charm. A haven from the bustle and motorcycle horns just outside the gate. Easy walking distance to the sites around the City Palace. Vikram and his polite, helpful staff made my wife and I feel like part of the family. A great breakfast set us up for the day and the home cooked vegetarian meals in the evening were better than the restaurant meals we had elsewhere. I can’t forget Soni, one of the resident tuktuk drivers, who gave us a fun day out touring the sites. Also Vikram now offers fighting kite flying lessons. Many years ago I was a keen kite flyer and talking to Vikram he was happy to get me flying again. I had the sky to myself for 20mins, but sadly my skills were not up to the challenge when another kite attacked me. The time was an absolute highlight of our visit to Jaipur. Once again thank you Vikram.

One very minor issue, historic houses come with historic wall power sockets. I had a bit of difficulty keeping our charger working.

Super sejour. L’accueil de tout le personnel a éte super chaleureux. Bon petit déjeuner compris et généreux. Bon emplacement, dans la vielle ville, à 10mn a pied du palais des vents, du palais royal et de la Ajmeri Gate. Chambre spacieuse et propre. Vikram est très sympathique et hyper disponible. Nous avions un bus tard le soir et il nous a proposé de nous laver a l’hôtel et de se prélasser dans les parties communes. Nous avons même eu une adorable attention de depart.

Demander comment fonctionne l’eau chaude. Dans les vieilles bâtisses, il faut un interrupteur spécial pour activer l’eau chaude et nous nous sommes lavées à Léa froide. Bien demander à quelqu’un de venir vous chercher car trouver l’hôtel peut s’avérer fastidieux. Les rues sont étroites, sombres et un peu « louches ». Mais très safe

I was out and about running all over Jaipur like a madman but I loved this hotel. The family that runs it couldn't possibly be nicer or more helpful. The rooms are nice, especially the gorgeous tile work in the basement. The location is great - smack dab in the Old City and about a 3 minute walk from Johari Bazar and a lot of incredible dining options.

I liked everything, but know that it's not a great place for someone who would have trouble with a fairly steep and narrow staircase.

Un merveilleux moment entourée de cette famille avec un grand cœur. Nous avons eu deux merveilleux repas en leur compagnie. Nous reviendrons.

L'accueil familial, la disponibilité, la chambre très joliment décorée avec une terrasse. La nourriture était excellente.

The family who runs the homestay is very kind and lovely. They were very accommodating and friendly. The food was excellent at dinner.

Un endroit spécial tenue par une famille adorable, le papa est très attachant et son fils très attentif. Le rapport qualité prix est très bon car pour une auberge de jeunesse, elle est parfaitement propre et bien tenue. Un endroit que je recommanderais

Chambre spacieuse. Climatisation fonctionne. Eau chaude disponible. Proche du centre et des principales attractions.

C'est une très vieille bâtisse, genre riad marocain, qui pourrait avoir beaucoup de charme, mais sa rénovation est incomplète et approximative. Ça donne une impression de bricolage inachevé. Il y a des moustiques mais pas de moustiquaire. Ventilos à vitesse unique non réglable très rapide et très bruyant. Pas de prise de courant utilisable dans ma chambre. Pas de réception fonctionnelle. Petit-déjeuner peu consistant et sans choix. Des chiens circulent partout dans l'hôtel. Les photos sur booking.com ne correspondent pas à la réalité. On ne s'y sent pas à l'aise. Déçu.
