Nature Hunt Eco Camp

The accommodation was exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were courteous- from reception, house keeping, restaurant-throughout my stay. The culinary experience was characterized by impeccably delicious meals, spanning breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. I am certain that I would choose to revisit this establishment in the future.

Breakfast was good and the staff ensured that they served us hot breakfast and took the exact time when we wanted our food. If we did not reach the dining hall at the given time then whey would come to our room to call us. Avik Dasgupta was very prompt and helped us with the safari ( both Elephant safari and Jeep safari ). He also recommended which ranges to visit within the national park etc. Please note that you have to book elephant safari much in advance to avoid disappointment. Good Airtel network coverage within the property. They also organise campfire in the evenings. Rooms were clean and service was prompt. They recommended us to visit "Kaziranga Haat" which is run by a lady Roopjyoti , who works with the local women to make them financially independent and also organises home made veg Assamese thali lunches ( prior booking needed ). Overall good experience.

The rooms did not have any room heaters nor was it available within the property for an additional price. It was getting extremely cold in the night , since temperatures in the night falls to 8 -9 degrees. Another recommendation will be to have mosquito nets installed on the windows so that we can have enough ventilation during the summer months , without thinking about insects/ mosquitoes getting into the room.

We had sent our guests for 2-nights. They were all appreciative about the place and the caretakers. It's our pleasure to get such helpful reviews from the guests where we had chosen the stay on an experimental basis for the Low Budgetary requirement of our guests.

Everything about Nature Hunt is wonderful. The staff is extremely responsive and focused on making your stay at Kaziranga an incredible experience. The room is extremely well priced for the facilities on offer: the cane cabins are almost 5 star level. They organised jeep and elephant safaris for us which went like clockwork (inform in advance so they can plan). The food was filling and tasty. They organised a campfire at night which was wonderful in the cold winter. I can’t thank Ronnie, Aovick and their team enough for making our trip to Kaziranga first rate!

The rooms get super cold at night and there are stray noises from the trees that could keep a sensitive sleeper awake, but I am nitpicking!

The cottages are lovely and very clean (European Standard). Very good hot shower, European style comfortable mattresses. Staff and manager very attentive and friendly making every effort to help. This is a professionally run 'camp', also well aware of non-domestic traveller needs. They use solar power and a very nice touch is the caraffe of filtered water already on the dinner table. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced. We would return any time with pleasure. Immer wieder gerne!
