Lakefront Beach Homes

The staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were extremely kind and caring.

Having mobility issues, I personally found the stepping-stone paths difficult, but that should not bother most people.

We had a fantastic stay at Lakefront Beach homes and cannot fault it. From the owners warm welcome, friendly staff, spacious clean and comfortable room to the relaxing gardens, cooling pool and lakefront views - what more could you want.... Our first time in India we felt really relaxed and safe and felt reassured that we were good hands with the owners who were very attentive, with excellent English and always happy to help with advice and suggestions. Breakfast was always prepared freshly and nothing was too much trouble, from bottles of drinking water to cups of tea and coffee. Kochi taxi transfers were arranged for our arrival with excellent communication throughout. This is a very special place and you will not be disappointed if you book.

It is a perfect place! The location is great, the rooms are bright and spacious, the whole building is quite new and very clean. The food was amazing. But the best thing is the hospitality - staff makes you feel like you are their special guest, always asking if you need something and willing to make your stay as nice as possible. This is a hidden gem 😍

Honestly - not even one negative thing!

This place is really wonderful! The owner and the staffs were so friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were really clean.This beautiful and quaint homestay had pretty garden overlooking the lake . Woke up early to watch the sunrise by the lake which was blissful! The beach is just walking distance across the homestay and we managed to go for a swim there and watch the sunset. Most importantly the whole experience staying at this place was wonderful because the owner Shari and her staffs were really nice.We got to drink tea anytime and had delicious vegetarian Keralan food . Shari also helped to order in if we needed food from elsewhere, directed us to places and suggested places for sightseeing. She was really helpful. Overall, we had the best stay here and will definitely stay here whenever we come to Cheerai

Absolutely NOTHING

Great location near the beach but fronting on to lake - very peaceful. Large comfortable room with lovely view from the balcony. Owner was really kind and helpful staff couldn't do enough for you. Splash pool was great for cooling off, would have stayed longer if had time. Highly recommend.

This was our favorite homestay of our whole travel in India ♥️ You can go with your eyes closed! Very generous family, kind, you really feel welcome here. The homestay is superb with an outstanding view of the lagoon at the back of the garden. The beach and a few restaurants are at a few minutes of walking distance. It's a very quiet area, perfect to rest, observe animals, refresh in the little pool or the sea (which is super warm actually). The big room upstairs with the private balcony is absolutely wonderful. Small rooms are well equiped as well. The food was delicious, with lots of flavours, vegetarian and healthy. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality ! We will for sure come back next time we have the chance to travel to Kerala ♥️🙏♥️

a quiet, relaxing place, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. The team is charming, caring and so accommodating. Breakfast, meals, tea at any time. It was a pleasure to stay there. I highly recommend ! I almost forgot the sunrise over the lake
