Great hospitality

Everything was nice, perfect stay for a night, when you have to work in the area the next day.

Comfy accomodation from friendly and welcoming host Maria. Great position to bus stop to get to the start point for Hadrian's Wall path in Wallsend.

Comfy bed. Welcoming host. Good location to Town.

Maria's House was ideal for my trip. My room was comfortable and a good size for me. Maria was friendly and helpful and eager to assist me for my trip to Newcastle. I'd recommend Maria's House thoroughly.

Pleasant host, greeted me on arrival, Comfortable bed. Very basic as room in a house/home that was definitely someone's normal home. Not really what I was expecting (probably my error when booking as looking for somewhere close to where family are now living at reasonable price) but do not know Newcastle well.

Traffic noise made it hard to go to sleep, No breakfast as per description despite being asked what time I was expecting to leave in the morning. Luckily I found a Greggs nearby. Got up, house quiet (no-one around/up 8 - 8:30) so let myself out which felt wrong as had to leave door unlocked. Difficult to find as entry is at back of property on a housing estate - had to ask someone, who happened to be coming home as I drove past, where property was. This is probably a handy stay over for regulars who are working in the Newcastle area e.g. commercial workers but not so great for people who do not know area, I was coming up to see family this address appeared to be local, which it was. Not a B&B, not a hotel more an airBNB with live in proprietor where you do your own thing??
