Marie and Robert are wonderful and warm hosts who make a stay a pleasure. I had a complicated schedule of arrival and departure times plus late events and Roberts just made it work for me. I am delighted!

My first night in New Zealand and was perfect. Set on a farm with goats, donkeys, pigs, cats, dogs. Very welcoming host who drove me out to get dinner when i arrived as everything was about to close. Informed me of some nice walks to do. Basically living in the house with the host, lovely kitchen and garden. Breakfast provided.

I couldn't seem to bank transfer for the payment so had to go and get cash out from an atm. Either pay fully upfront with booking.com or remember to take cash with you.

Everything was super clean, we had a lovely room, two super friendly dogs and cats. We had an issue with selling our car before leaving New Zealand and the owner helped right on the spot, he and his wife are awesome people and the best spot to stay for the night in Auckland.

This is a very family based and friendly old fashioned style Bed and Breakfast. It is not fanciful nor flashy. Breakfast is provided so this is a plus. Owner jokes a lot and is friendly and helpful. It is affordable and easy access to SH 1 which is exactly what I wanted.

Unfortunately, it might not be suitable for families or couples looking for a luxurious stay.

The stay comes with breakfast. It is in the main house, brilliant. Or, you can eat al fresco on the outside deck. My bed was very comfortable.

Very friendly proprietor, property as described, good location, and nice yard. There was never any competition for shared facilities.
