Ladywood House Bed and Breakfast

Tom was super friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was good. The double room and bathroom were spacious. Location was great, quick walk to Ironbridge downtown.

There was no top sheet on the double bed and the duvet was just too warm. Carpets in a bathroom is never a good idea, especially around the toilet. The road was very noisy at night.

Tom, the host, was very friendly, knowledgable of the surrounding area and its history. He was also attentive to your needs and the rooms were all on one level, so was easy for my partner who uses crutches.

The only thing I would like is a larger bathroom, but what we had was adequate.

Lovely setting, peaceful and picturesque. Comfy, cozy, clean room with a good cooked breakfast included. The owner Tom made sure we had everything we needed and text us clear concise instructions re. parking and entry to the property on the day we arrived. Great communication throughout. Couldn't have asked for a better host, perfect balance of friendliness and privacy. We really enjoyed our stay of two nights and would more than happily come back to stay with Tom at Ladywood if we were in the area.

One of the rooms we stayed in had damp bedding, which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Additionally, we found that the overall cleanliness of the rooms did not meet our expectations, which further detracted from our stay. To add to our disappointment, there was a hair found in the breakfast we were served, making the experience quite unappetizing.

Great location in our case for fishing, but if you want to visit Ironbridge

Missing shampoo and such for my morning shower had to go and buy some not a major issue but normally you would expect in a toom

Breakfast was excellent, host extremely friendly and accommodation very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

There was no shower gel and unfortunately we arrived too late to flag this. I have no doubt that the issue would have been rectified as soon as it was raised. Otherwise the stay was fine.
