Made to feel welcomed, room was nice and quiet and parking at the front. Breakfast was excellent.

Really good size room for 3 adults. Friendly & helpful hosts who made you feel really welcome.

The hosts were exceptional—incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They went above and beyond what I could ask for. I forgot a pair of trousers, and Loren kindly lent me a pair for the day. Ray made sure I settled in well and even reserved a table for me at a nearby pub, which he recommended for dinner. And it was fab! Breakfast offered a range of items to suit many preferences. The mattress was wonderful—I slept soundly and found it very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean and well-kept, and the shower had great pressure and heat. The location of the place is also superb; the bus stop is just around the corner, with buses running on time and regularly. There are many amenities nearby, like Tesco Express, pubs, walks, charity shops, etc. The whole place had such a homely vibe—I felt like I was staying at a close relative's :)

Nothing, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our hosts Loren and Ray were lovely, very welcoming. We had a wedding reception to attend. Plenty of choice at breakfast time and more than we could eat. Off road parking next to the property.

The old impacted beds, the dead steam-rollered pillows, the over-bath shower, the plastic shower curtain, the decor (patterned carpet around a toilet...quite 1970s), the lack of easy internet, not being given a chance to relax, the weirdness, the sheet wrapped around the duvet so you know the sheet gets changed and the duvet goes back on as is...yeuk, the pseudo friendly but actually strange notes, the lack of proper coffee, the 'breakfast', the plastic cheese, the dirty milk jug, the endless endless uninvited talking, lack of easy access to something actually appetizing for breakfast, all felt very mean...who the hell hides the bread and doles out the toast as one slice each and only if you ask? (You actually want a slice of toast in addition to your one frozen croissant????) The total awkwardness of it all.

From arrival until we departed, the whole experience was exceptional, Ray and Loran are sensational hosts, the room was spacious incorporating on suite facilities, the bed was comfortable via the memory foam mattress and finally the continental breakfast was well presented with a wide range of products.

Ray and Loren couldn't have been more helpful and caring, from when I called beforehand to let them know I'd be late, to the moment I left. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed as if I were a family member. The room was warm, clean and comfortable, especially the bed! The shower was powerful, which I love. At breakfast, I was invited to share the huge farmhouse kitchen, and I was able to have all my favourites for breakfast, all served generously with a smile and warm conversation. I honestly felt like I'd known Ray and Loren for years; they're so lovely.

That I couldn't stay longer.
