Gordon House

Breakfast was delicious and cooked the way we liked it. Our host, Les, welcomed us with a drink and let my daughter and I have a room each instead of sharing a room. We lucked it in by staying on a Friday & Saturday, which meant Les cooked us a wonderful meal both nights.

Great location, lovely hosts and wonderful food. Les and John are so welcoming.

First and foremost, the hosts. Les and John makes you feel so welcome from the second you enter the door. You almost dont feel like you are guests there, more like friends coming over to chat and have dinner. They sits down to eat with you, and are full of historys, jokes and good conversations. Even Alexa tries to join, but she is not a good listener 😀. Nice food, homemade drinks, music and nice people. You will love to be here.

Een unieke, authentieke en warme gastvrouw die ons verwelkomde met een "proevertje" whisky. De gastvrouw maakte een diner klaar voor de gasten omdat het restaurant in het dorp gesloten was. En het ontbijt was om duimen en vingers van af te likken. Genoten van ieder moment in deze locatie!

Werkelijk niets!

Herzlicher könnte man nicht empfangen werden ♥️. Es war wie "Coming home for Christmas". Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne familiäre Abende mit Les und John. Mit zwei anderen Gästen wurden wir mit einem köstlichen Abendessen in der gemütlichen Atmosphäre des ehemaligen Pubs verwöhnt und haben gut im gemütlichen Bett geschlafen. Das Frühstück war perfekt und Les hat mir sogar Pancakes gemacht, da ich des full Scottish Breakfast übersättigt war 😂.

Der Wasserdruck wurde durch die Gemeinde wegen Trockenheit gedrosselt weshalb Duschen ein Fiasko war.

это очень теплое и светлое место среди дождливой и холодной Шотландии, это не отель, здесь вы приходите в гости к старому хорошему другу и просто проводите отлично время! Лесс очень гостеприимная и веселая девушка, приезжайте к ней в гости, у вас останутся только самые теплые воспоминания о Шотландии.
