The Mayfair

The property is close to the train station and directly on the beach front. The room was perfect - clean, bright and airy with a stunning view of the sea front. Clare and Andrew were amazing hosts and really care for their guests, they’re really lovely and easy to talk to. Room came with amenities such as a kettle, mugs, bottle of water, glasses and a selection of coffee, hot chocolate and teas - they do not stinge on the variety of teas! I previously asked about oat milk and there were oat milk sachets with the amenities in our room and in the morning a small jug of oat milk was included in the breakfast set up - it’s the small things! In the toilet/shower you’re provided with the usual hand and bath towels but they also included a face wash cloth, a microfibre body wash cloth, a hair cap and a make up remover wipe sachet - so you’re covered if you forget! There’s a book in the room with WiFi passwords, their contact numbers and recommend local places to eat which was helpful. In the dining room there’s also a seating area with a coffee table which is lovely to sit in and look at the sea but they also have a selection of games! Thought this was a lovely idea as you might to stay in but not necessarily in your room. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better stay or hosts, we will definitely be staying at The Mayfair anytime we visit Weymouth :)

Unable to have a shower as the water was luke warm or cold .They need to install electric shower units .

Excellent and friendly hosts and a brilliant B&B. Really enjoyed our weekend away and would recommend to anyone! Amazing breakfast

Really close to the train station, Claire and Andrew were very professional and friendly. We could not have asked for a better stay. There was a lovely view over the bay and The Mayfair is really close to the town and the harbour is a short walk. We will be back!

There was a bathroom but the hand basin was in the main room. Possibly because of planning- which was weird but fine. The building is listed which means that the windows can't be upgraded. The stay was warm but be aware of this if outdoor sounds are an issue for you.

Andrew and Clare are so friendly and welcoming, you can tell they truly love what they do. Our sea view room was fantastic, very spacious and clean. The location could not be better. A good breakfast that sets you up for the day, and home made cake in the afternoon - what more could you want!
