"Lovely to explore Genoa"

Great location and everything was within walking distance.

Too many steps till you reach the entrance. If you have luggage be prepared. The building itself has a lift but many steps to reach the building.

L’accueil chaleureux et serviable. Le petit déjeuner varié et copieux servi avec ponctualité dans la chambre. Chambres refaites tous les jours. Situation idéale pour visiter Gênes. Chambres au calme.

"Home comforts in quiet, character apartment minutes away from the old town."

An apartment within an apartment so you did feel like a guest in somebody's home. Big bathroom and a second family room useful for storing luggage. Comfortable bed and very good breakfast, a mix of standards and local specialities. Just 5 minutes walk to the old town, midway between the two railway stations with major bus routes at the bottom of the road. And a very friendly dog.

Perhaps not quite so many steps up from the road......but then it is on a hill and you're halfway to Castelletto.
