The staff were very friendly. They were very helpful and obliging and the food was good. The room was clean and very bright. There was no decaf coffee in the room, but we were given a small bowl at breakfast to take to the room, thanks.

General maintenance in the room and it would have been really helpful to have a blackout blind at the front window because the sun streamed in as it rose. Issues were raised with the staff and were accepted so I hope that they are acted on because it's a great little pub with rooms that could be even better with a little TLC.
