Yogi-Homestay

Fellow travelers and our host (who always came to check in the property and chat everyday!) made this home stay actually feel like home! It was easy to hangout, cook dinner and help each other book excursions (as some folks had arrived earlier and had good knowledge/reviews of the area). The bikes are old but easy to use and helped us get all over town - the beach, a sunset viewing spot, etc. There are several grocery stores within quick walking distance as well, some of which have cheap and delicious boxed lunches. It’s a simple accommodation with excellent A/C units that make a humid environment feasible!

Bathroom amenities could be better stocked but it was all workable!

The staff is incredibly supportive. They are mostly around between 7:30 and 9:00 AM, but they are always available via WhatsApp if you need anything. They also gave me excellent recommendations for tour companies and car rentals. The facility is very clean and quiet, with a great community of divers. I also loved the large kitchen—it's ideal for long-term stays and self-catering.

Great budget-friendly stay with very clean common areas and spotless shower facilities. The WiFi worked really well for calls and work, and the outdoor area with hammocks was perfect to relax. The team was super friendly, and I met lots of great people during my stay. They even have SUPs and Kayaks as well as bikes you can borrow! Loved my stay here! It’s about a 5–10 minute walk to the main road.

Cleanliness, facilities (fully equipped kitchen, common areas, outdoor space, hand laundry and drying facilities, bikes for free, also SUP, parking for rented car, good strong hot shower and many bathrooms/wc), equipment, strong and reliable Wi-Fi, very good location (supermarkets, Main Street, Friday night market and park, museum and Long Beach all at walking/bike distance), good AC both in the room and in the living room. Excellent communication with the owner/manager Jee before, during and after the stay, very responsive, extremely helpful (day trips, recommendations, plugins adaptors, etc) and friendly. Very quiet. We stayed for 8 nights but we have stayed much longer, ideal for long stays and probably the best quality/price ratio in Koror. I really recommend! (And contrary to other reviews, indeed there are a few dogs in the neighbourhood but they don’t cause any problem)

The lady on staff was really friendly and kind. She spoke great English and was very helpful with things like car hire and arranging a late check-in. The dorm room, as well as the corridors and common areas, were cleaned every morning and kept nice and tidy. The Wi-Fi was fast enough, and I didn’t really have any problems with it. Bath towels, an all-in-one shampoo and conditioner, and even a hairdryer were provided. For a dorm, it felt pretty well looked after. The kitchen was clean and spacious. There was even a Japanese-style pot, so you could cook most things. There were plenty of seasonings, though it would’ve been nice if there’d been some cooking oil as well. It’s a bit away from the main street, about a 15–30 minute walk to most places. But they offer free bikes, which makes it much easier. In hot Palau, that was actually a big help. Just a heads-up: the bikes don’t have hand brakes, you stop by pedalling backwards. It might take a bit of getting used to, especially if you’re not familiar with that type. I’d strongly recommend walking the bike down any steep hills.

Nothing really. Like I said, the location is the only minor drawback. Apart from that, it was spot on! Staff included.
