Divine Mercy B&B

The house was very quiet while I stayed, it was kept lovely and warm and comfortable. I was in Knock for religious purposes - and Elsie, the owner, was very interesting to talk to and was able to educate me a good deal on things I wasn’t aware of and hadn’t already considered. I will most definitely be looking to stay at this guesthouse whenever I return to Knock.

Elsie is a wonderful host, extremely kind and welcoming, she even dropped me off at the bus stop the following day. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Extremely clean, beautiful location, very comfortable beds, and free breakfast, tea and coffee.

Great location; just a few blocks from Knock shrine. There was a little confusion with regards the type of room we requested, but it got sorted in the end. Luckily there was a spare double room (our original preference) in a backup B and B next door, where the host was very gracious. (There was no kettle in that other b and b, but was made available upon request). The breakfast was grilled, hence healthier.

The non-dairy (coconut) milk was a bit off (risky to health), and so were some slices of brown bread (only a couple, with the molds thankfully visible). Maybe because we only requested for the non-dairy alternative that morning...Perhaps it would be good to have allergens in mind, as would be standard nowadays.

Inte så välstädat. Ingen termostat på elementet gav alldeles för varmt på natten. Fick inte duschen att fungera. Ingen yoghurt till frukost, annars okej.

I would rate higher but I booked for two and my friend had already booked for herself. Immediately I asked for an amendment but I’m still awaiting confirmation as to whether I will get a partial refund.

We where made at home straight away by Elsie. Location was very good. breakfast was lovely

My bed was uncomfortable, but the rest of the group was ok
