Prachtige omgeving en absoluut top om af te koelen in de Loboc rivier. Ook heel behulpzaam personeel en lekker eten. We hebben genoten.

Als je hier in april/ mei verblijft is het wel enorm heet, door de vochtigheid koelt het ‘s nachts ook minder goed af. Als je niet goed slaapt in de hitte, kan het wel intens zijn.

I wanted to have a peaceful getaway in the jungle and this is exactly what I got. Booking tours or renting a scooter was very easy and convenient. You will most likely have all your food at their restaurant which is really good and reasonably priced. You pay for everything at the end of your stay which is really convenient. Would totally recommend!

Das Baumhaus entsprach absolut den Bildern, es gab auch warmes Wasser zum Duschen, der angebotene Kochkurs war toll, die Rezeption war sehr verfügbar und hilfreich, sehr leckeres Essen im Restaurant, Moskitonetz über dem Bett sehr praktisch angebracht (im Quadrat mit Einstieg), tolle Bereiche zum Aufhalten (Hängematten oder am Fluss), tolle gepflegte Anlage und sehr idyllisch; das Baumhaus und die Umgebung geben Dschungelfeeling :)

Bei der Firefly Kayaktour ist es nicht so, dass man am ganzen Ufer Fireflys sieht, sondern, dass es in unserem Fall 1 Baum gab, um den sich alle versammelt haben. Dafür kann die Unterkunft natürlich nichts. Leider war nicht kaltes Duschwasser das Problem, sondern, dass gar kein Wasser aus der Leitung (Dusche und Waschbecken) kam. Man musste die Rezeption bitten, das Wasser einzuschalten, nur wussten wir das am ersten Tag nicht, wir konnten dann duschen, weil unsere Nachbarn wohl danach gefragt hatten. Es gibt einen Wassermangel/limitierung, das ist OK, aber man könnte den Gästen sagen, dass sie danach fragen müssen (während der Rezeptionszeiten).

Water to Forest Ecolodge in Loboc is one of the most peaceful and grounding stays we have ever experienced. The location feels truly remote, surrounded by dense jungle and sitting right along the calm Loboc River. It is quiet in the best way possible - no traffic, no noise, just nature everywhere you look. The whole place gives a real back to nature feeling. Waking up to birds, river sounds, and fresh jungle air makes you feel completely disconnected from busy life and fully immersed in the environment. It is the kind of stay that slows everything down. The rooms are simple but comfortable and fit perfectly with the eco-lodge concept. Nothing feels overdone, which actually adds to the charm. A highlight of the stay was the cooking class with Rafa, which was such a fun and authentic experience. Learning local dishes in that setting, surrounded by nature, made it feel very personal and memorable. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always helpful, which added to the warm atmosphere. The on-site restaurant also served great food with a beautiful riverside view, perfect for long relaxed meals. Overall, it is a deeply peaceful, remote, and nature-focused escape. Ideal for anyone looking to unplug, reset, and experience Loboc in a slow and meaningful way.

The staff were so so friendly, super helpful with any questions, and always lovely to talk to! The location is insane, right on the river, surrounded by nature.

I woke at 4:30am, because I can’t sleep. I drove to a hill spot to see a sunrise. It was beautiful. The sunrise at Water to Forest was the best view
