"Excellent for Exmoor"

If you are after the quintessential English farmhouse B&B experience this place ticks that box - everything from driving through the farmyard to park, the jackets and riding crops in the hallway and the photos of the family on the dining room table with a view of the barns and moors out the bedroom window. Great breakfast and a great base for exploring Exmoor.

Be aware that whilst you are only a few miles from Dulverton for dinner or supplies, it is a few miles of narrow country lanes that go up and down hills and around bends and that are lined with high hedges so recommend not arriving late in the day after a long driving day and/or at night.

The location is beautiful and high up which gave a lovely breeze in this current heatwave. The breakfast was excellent, good selection and all local produce. Will definitely be returning again.

"It was more than perfect, the shower was amazing. Just watch our for the Kelpie dog."

Communication was excellent, location stunning, breakfast superb. Advise given regarding daytime/evening eating perfect. Wonderful location, home-made marmalade for sale, great hosts and beautiful grandchild. Just watch out for the Kelpie dog on the farm. Our large dog had a sustained attack from him as he was loose on the farm. It ruined my friends day and he is still traumatised from the experience.

Make sure that the farm dogs are secure and away from the guest dogs.

"Memorable stay. We loved our fish & chips picnic. The local chippy is about 15 minutes away."

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of choice. Linda was a lovely hostess and we would all return for another stay in the future if we are in that area... or even just to go there... it was so peaceful.

Please place an extra table/chairs outside.
