"A wonderful gem of a B and B!"

It was an immaculately good size room which was very clean and comfortable. The host was very welcoming and there was a lovely touch of having breakfast in the room. The best feature of the property is the panoramic view from the bedroom of the sea and the western isles. Truly a wonderful experience to wake up to such a view.

"Wish we could have stayed longer"

We only spent a night at the Burnside en route to Glasgow, which was a shame, since it was a lovely place. The hostess was super-friendly and very concerned with helping us get to Glasgow Airport without problems! We had a comfortable and very spacious room with a great view to the water. Nice to have breakfast brought to the room.

Janey was wonderful and so helpful. Her breakfasts were delicious. Our accommodations were really comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like and appreciate.

Good choices for breakfast and delivered to the room. Location perfect for touring the area, good choice of eateries in the area, great location with room overlooking the sea.

"A little gem on the Ayrshire coast."

A fantastic find! We received a very warm welcome from Stuart and Janey at their lovely farmhouse property just a few feet from the shore. The whole place was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and spacious. The room itself was enormous, with great views over Ails Craig, Arran and Turnberry Bay - just the thing to wake up to on an Ayrshire spring morning! Breakfast (choose from an extensive list the night before) was served in the room, and was exceptionally good!

Nothing, except perhaps leaving.

Felt very comfortable and personal.

Only negative was waiting an ages for a hot shower however this is addressed on booking in and is because of it being a larger, older building. Fault you can live with.
