Casa Azzurra

Great location for exploring Gili Air. Claudio and Sabrina were very helpful and gave us so many tips and recommendations. We loved our stay here so much and hope to come back

Our second time staying at Casa Azzurra - just as fantastic as first! We would choose to stay here again - highly recommended!

As soon as we reached, Claudio sat us down with a chilled and refreshing glass of water melon juice and literally oriented us about the Gilli Air islands, the locations, places to visit, and where we would find good food. How we can plan our next couple of days and what not. Then he took us to our cozy little cottage room to freshen up. They even provided cycles for us to roam around the little island. The breakfast was great with freshly made food and fresh fruits every morning and we lived every bite of it. On the last day, we realized we had lost the lock of one of our cycles and I informed Claudio. I even offered to pay for it. He waved me off saying we must have lost it somewhere on the island and we don't have to worry about it.

The location of this hotel is almost in the middle of the island so we have to take a 5 min cycle ride or a 20 minute walk if we want to reach any beach.

The owners were adorable and very friendly. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, same for the hotel in general. It felt less like a hotel and more like a homestay which I liked. Breakfast was always amazing, and there was good selection to choose from. The location, it’s 10min away from the harbour and beach, you also get a bike included with the booking.

If we ever come back to Gili Air, we would definitely come back to Casa Azzurra! It’s owned by a lovely Italian couple who were supper charming and attentive during our stay and make the best breakfasts I have ever had in any hotel or accommodation. The portions of the breakfast are huge and they are simply culinary perfection! You get free bikes to use around the island and if you go to Biba hotel, you can use the deck chairs for free by the beach. We loved the design of the bungalows and the outdoor shower. It was great that the beds also had mosquito nets.

Casa Azzurra is one-of-a-kind and we couldn't recommend it more highly for your stay on Gili Air! From the amazing breakfast (don't get me started on their pesto) to the outdoor bathroom to the complimentary bike usage, they've truly thought of everything detail to make this an incredible stay.
