Everything ! -Host are among the nicest I’ve met in Indonesia they even came to pick me up at the harbor and help with the luggage 🙏 -Breakfast is amazing -Bungalows are great especially very beautiful bathroom -Swimming pool also super nice I had to switch my plans and come to Gili Air last minute and they made my stay much nicer than expected. Thank you.

Perfect location in the middle of the island with a beautiful garden and two nice cottages. We were staying in one of the two where we got every morning wonderful breakfast! Claudio and Sabrina are very welcoming and relaxed! The accommodation has bikes you can use, but everything is also within walking distance. It a calm and peaceful place, we loved it here and hope definitely to go back one day to stay at casa Azzurra!

We stayed eight nights at Casa Azzurra and loved our stay. Sabrina and Claudio are very welcoming hosts. We had some great chats with them at breakfast, otherwise they let you have your privacy unless you need something. Breakfasts are wonderful and plentiful. Sabrina has decorated everything with a 'beach' them - lovely blue shades. She's very creative. The outdoor bathroom was our absolute favourite - shades of blue, Italian tiles and plants and blue sky. The room is cleaned every day - new sheets every three days or so. Great service. It was in a great location - very central.

If I try hard I can think of only one very small thing. My partner and I found the seating around the pool a little odd. There are only two cottages so a total of 4 people staying at any one time. There are four sun loungers around the pool but they are all side by side (literally touching) which, for North Americans, is a bit close for comfort. We actually never had anyone sitting at the pool when we wanted to use it in the eight days we were there so the problem didn't arise and you can grab a chair and site it somewhere else on the grounds (which we did) but we did think about what we would do if the other two people arrived at the pool at the same time! There is space available so it would be easy to have two chairs, then some plants, and then another two chairs to give each couple some privacy. The current setup is shown clearly in the listing's photos so we knew in advance that that's how it was and it certainly didn't put us off booking, but we did contemplate how we could improve it while we were there. :-)

The breakfasts were delicious and very generous. It was quiet and away from the main drag. We were loaned bicycles for getting around. Both Claudio and Sabrina were very helpful and gave excellent recommendations for eating as well as for snorkeling etc. casa azzura is decorated with fabulous taste as Sabrina was an interior designer.

From the moment Claudio greets you at the harbour to the moment you leave, Claudio and his beautiful wife Sabrina will do anything possible to make your stay with them one to remember. There are only 2 bungalows plus the owners on the property. The swimming pool is a good size and the bungalows have everything you need. Loved the outdoor bathroom. Breakfast is amazing. there are plenty of choices. Free bikes are available for your use. It is located in the middle of the island, and no more than a 10 minute walk in any direction will take you to a beach. We stayed for 14 nights and didn't want to leave.
