Haven House Rooms, Barry

Lovely property - great location, only a few streets away from Gwen’s and Uncle Bryn and Doris’ house from Gavinnand Stacey and walking distance from the train station and Barry Docks. Didn’t meet any of the owners but clear instructions were given and we had no problem at all checking in/out. There was a communal area on the bottom floor, and everything we needed in the room including mini fridge. Plenty of parking available on the street also even though we were there on a weekend. Lovely, would highly recommend.

Didn’t interfere with our stay at all as we weren’t there durinf the day but we were in the room closest to the road and it could be quite noisy WITH THE WINDOWS OPEN. It’s a busy road and a lot of cars go by but other than that it was perfect! It was quiet at night so didn’t disrupt us at all.

Got stranded in Barry after we were denied boarding for our flight from Cardiff Airport, they took us in on !!really!! short notice. We could even leave our bags with them until the next flight left the airport! Very, very nice people. Room was perfect: Clean, comfortable bed, with complimentary items and a modern TV, plus shared room downstairs to spend time in / have breakfast.

Room was impecable and adorable.
