Lovely clean cosy room & lovely breakfast.

Squeaky floorboards

A really nice little ensuite room, very clean & comfortable. Tea/coffee facilities provided & a really nice continental breakfast available in the breakfast room, which was a lovely touch. About a 15 minute walk (uphill) from the high street & 1.2 miles from the attractions at Barry Island but can be reached by train (one stop) or buses & we walked one day (thankfully mostly downhill). The owner was always contactable & helpful (lending me a hairdryer as I forgot mine) & is a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome.

Something trivial but would have liked a plug socket near the mirror for doing my hair. Nothing to complain about...had a very relaxing & comfortable stay.

The people that own this property made every effort to make it amazing. I asked prior to our arrival to see if it would b possible for a little something extra as it was my partners birthday and they went above and beyond and payed for it all themselves till I arrived. They made it really special as we had a time slot for brakefast so it was if only we was there. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great value room with a lovely breakfast offering. Attention needed for the ensuite which has lights out and a shower head that requires a clean. Upon arrival we noticed that there was some out of date olives in the mini fridge which appeared to have been there for some time. Kettle requires a plug socket nearby as we had to move the kettle to the floor. Very good value and little work needed to make perfect.
