Beautiful garden and pool. Very friendly hosts that made us feel like home.

Bed mattresses were a bit hard for Northern European tastes, but this common for most parts of the world.

Pilou was very helpful and friendly. The Villa is very nicely done with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. The warung across the road had excellent food and very lovely helpful staff.

Villa Pilou was such a treat. Away from the Canggu crowds, in a beautiful area, host Pilou and his wife are the most welcoming hosts you could ask for. The rooms are clean, spacious and stylish. The pool and garden are lovely. You start the day with a delicious breakfast (homemade jams and especially imported -proper- butter on toast, for example) and great coffee, and you can pet the hosts' cute dog if that's your thing (how could it not be). A stay here is more than just nice rooms and a pool. You come to enjoy the hospitality, the good vibes, the stories Pilou will tell you. You won't forget your stay here.

Very private cosy little place, with few rooms and lots of love put into every detail. Like being invited to the home of a close friend.

There is No restaurant on site and the choices of restaurants nearby is limited to a few. But the ones that are There had a great view and good food at reasonable prices.

☑️ Friendly hosts who made us feel at home ☑️ 2 min walk to laundry and 10/10 restaurant open for lunch and dinner ☑️ Extremely clean, spacious accommodation ☑️ Basic but tasty breakfast of toast with butter and assorted homemade jams, scrambled eggs, small bowl of fruit, orange juice, and tea/coffee. ☑️ Good location for visits to Tanah Lot and tours in West Bali ☑️ Rice fields surrounding the property, tranquil atmosphere compared to other cities in Bali ☑️ There was a small earthquake one of the nights of our stay and the host knocked to check we were okay ☑️ Hosts prepared hot breakfast when we needed it, some days 7am, some days as late as 10am ☑️ Very responsive to messages

There is a dog and two cats at the property. They are friendly, but it’s just something to keep in mind if you are allergic or scared of these pets. The accommodation itself and the surrounding area is peaceful, but it is a bit remote compared to city stays so if you’re looking for somewhere very close to a wide variety of activities, shops and restaurants, this may not be your ideal stay. For us, it was a welcome respite after staying in traffic-heavy and noisy Ubud and Uluwatu.

It is a wonderful place managed by a kind person. Pilou was a great great great (so on) host in a magical villa with an amazing homemade breakfast. Good suggestion for dinner in a fantastic restaurant with a beautiful sunset.

Not have more time to spend there

Delicious homemade jams and fresh eggs. Possibly the best coffee we had all week.

A few doggy poop in the garden. Luckily my children managed to miss it
