Belton House Holiday Home

The location was beautiful. The property itself was fantastic with ample parking and great facilities. The entertainment hall was ideal for events keeping everything in one place.

The mattress on the double bed I slept in wasn’t very comfortable. It would also have been nice if the hot tub and karaoke equipment had been included in the house rental price instead of additional as this wasn’t clear when we booked on booking.com. Also when booking we thought the house came with the swimming pool as the photos lead you to think this. It’s not until you read booking.coms small print that you realise that there is an extra charge for this. Perhaps this needs to be a little clearer on the site.

Hazel was very kind, really easy to communicate and easy access when we arrived.

Everything was excellent

It's in little remote place pass small Village just of the Exit from Scotish services 1h before Glasgow so perfect for sleepover in if you are traveling from place to place or just want a peace and quiet from the civilisation.

The signal on the way there may get lost for a 10 -20 mins while car journey so book ahead and you will not get in the situation where message with Door key Lock gets dissappear. I guess we can not change a nature of Scots but but warmer welcome , maybe a tea bag for breakfast or instant coffee , anything that can last so it's not spoiled easy and can welcome a guest would be a nice touch...

Absolutely loved the house. The room was lovely, great shower. Beds were a bit squeaky but otherwise great. The kitchen is huge!. Would recommend for groups; it sleeps 20ish. Not the kitchen, the house. There's a heritage trail wich was great to walk while the sun went down. A small convenient store is located 5 minutes away, the owner of said store is lovely as are the owners of Belton house.

Me and my family had a fantastic time and will defo be looking forward to coming back. Will possibly use for a hen doo I will be planning.
