Sue and Jeff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was just lovely, warm, clean and comfortable. Very close to where I needed to be. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Would love to return later in my trip.

There wasn't anything not to like

The location is perfect, the room spacious and clean with various unexpected bonuses, bottled water, usb sockets, great WiFi, toiletries, shower cap etc. our hosts were very friendly and attentive, breakfast was lovely, everything cooked well and was hot. We have stayed in many guest houses and this particular property and hosts have really impressed! Excellent value and a very pleasant stay, we will return!

Fabulous venue. It’s a beautifully restored Victorian house with large rooms and high ceiling. It’s tastefully decorated to a high standard. Lots of attention to details china in the dining room and furnishings in the bedrooms. It’s a delightful place to stay. Jeff and Sue are attentive and thoughtful hosts. The cooked breakfast was delicious. Little things like bottled water and tissues in the room made my stay extra special. I needed a luxury place to stay and I found it here. I found the atmosphere relaxing and I do thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Nothing to dislike. There is limited parking but not a problem for me. There’s plenty of parking nearby. It’s a Victorian building so there are stairs to the bedrooms but this is outweighed by the comfort this hotel offers

The rooms are immaculate and beautiful- breakfast was delicious.
