Bridie and George were fantastic hosts. The house was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located for everything we wanted to see. I would gladly return for another visit to Sli Na Mara.

"Lovely stay in Galway"

Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood, convenient to downtown Galway & the shoreline. The room I stayed in was very clean & had nice natural light. Great breakfast in a lovely dining/sitting room with a variety of hot & cold foods available. George & Bridie are attentive, friendly, & informative hosts. They also let guests leave cars parked a while longer after check-out -- a nice bonus to be able to explore a little more without having to navigate to public parking. Would stay again.

The bathroom is rather small (but is tidy & makes good use of the limited space).

Unfortunately, we were only in Galway for one night, and it coincided with the arrival of extratropical cyclone Amy! So we were a bit drenched and cold when we arrived, and weren't able to go out and see the city as we'd planned. We just stopped at the nearby Tesco and got some snacks since going out for dinner wasn't feasible, and ate them in our room. Having said that, we were extremely grateful to be in such a comfy and cozy room for the evening, and Bridie was wonderful and friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. We'll have to go back to Galway another time, but would definitely stay at Sli Na Mara again.

We had a wonderful time at Sli Ni Mara. The bed was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The B&B is within walking distance to Galway's Latin Quarter, and you won't have trouble finding anywhere to sit and have a pint and listen to music. Breakfast was delicious, and our host was sweet and accommodating. This was a great place to stay.

Hosts were both very friendly and helpful in giving recommendations about visiting nearby national park and where to dine in Galway.

Room was nice, but a little smaller than expected. Also being older, we would have preferred a lower floor.
