B&B Castellani

Das B&B Castellani liegt 10 min zu Fuß zum Bahnhof und direkt in der historischen Altstadt. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich der Dom und alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der Gastgeber empfang uns sehr herzlich in der Wohnung. Es gibt ein Zimmer mit Bad und ein anderes mit Bad auf dem Flur. Da wir alleine waren, hatten wir die ganze Wohnung für uns. Abends stellte Laetizia uns ein Frühstück mit Kaffee, Tee, Säften, Toasts, Kuchen etc. hin. Wir können das B&B sehr weiterempfehlen.

B&B Castellani is very central and at walking distance from everything in Pavia centre. The house is very clean and cozy, the room is spacious, the separate, but private, bathroom is equally spacious and with a nice shower. The apple cake was a very nice breakfast treat.

Letizia is super nice host. Her son and she even also help me carried my luggage up and down the stairs as it's quite narrow and steep. Her breakfast is simple but nice. I really like her apple cake. Yummy 😁😁😁

The stairs is a bit challenging as it's a bit narrow and steep. But you will get used to it.

This was beautiful marvelous spacious! Our host and her husband 10+ stars out of 10. The breakfast, homemade Italian cake, with fresh fruit, refrigerator stocked full with milk, cream, yogurt, coffee pods so you make each cup hot fresh and to your specifications. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit extremely comfortable for four adults or family with kids. Or you could have one bedroom and share the common area with a second guest and make new friends. You are in the center of everything! Historical sites, restaurants, grocery, local markets. Buy meal items directly from the baker, the butcher, the farmer’s fields, orchards, and creamery fresh milk, eggs and cheese. Staying here is like living with the locals, conversations, true reality. So if you really want to submerse your self into the Italian lifestyle. This would be the perfect place for a 30, 60, or 90 day stay.

For some the most difficult part might be the flight of stairs to the unit on the second floor. “No Elevator”. But that is part of the Italian experience. When buildings are 200 + years old that is the reality of how the majority of people still live. When in Italy you walk everywhere. So bring good walking shoes.
