Green Zion garden is an incredible place to stay - the rooms are comfortable and colourful, with a path directly to the beach which is clean and beautiful to swim in. The host Ellis could not have been more amazing - he’s a fantastic cook, great conversation and works tirelessly to keep the beach clean and look after his guests

Green Zion Garden is a wonderful place. It's a 5 minute walk from the small fishing village of Butre, reachable via a wooden bridge. We found that the location strikes the perfect balance: It feels secluded without being totally isolated. The beach is simply gorgeous, so is the garden. The owner, Ellis, is the true star though. He built a little shack right above the beach front where he serves home-cooked food and drinks (we loved just to hang out there all day) You can feel the personal energy he puts into his work and that's what really sets this place apart from many other, more "resorty" accomodation along the coast.
