Bed and Breakfast Trnje

The scenery is magical it has stables and green everywhere. The couple that own the place are the sweetest. The breakfast was great also the room. We felt recharged and joyfull.

Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely quiet location near Pivka and Postjana. Ponies, cat and a puppy added to the the ambience.

We should have asked for a fan for our room which would have been provided.

Decent basic breakfast and cute horses

When one books a place literally in the middle of nowhere, no one expects anything fancy, but hopes for a bit of privacy and basic comfort. This place was the exact opposite: a tiny old house which hosted 7 people on the top floor, one room attached to another where everyone could hear each other even sneezing, let alone speaking or something more intimate. Upon arrival, we were told the exact hour of the breakfast, and that it had to be consumed at the same table and at the same time with other guests(which, I repeat, didn’t seem strangers to us after a night when we could even hear their private conversations). In the morning, while the other guests were finishing their meal, my partner and I had to go back and forth in order to reach our external bathroom, which was right across the room where the breakfast was prepared. The room itself wasn’t properly cleaned(there was a lot of dust on the wardrobe, on the pictures hanging on the walls and the old phone), and the beds were separate. Even if you try to join them, there will be a piece of wood in the middle, which makes it impossible for a couple to sleep. On top of that, we paid 80 euros (including the city tax) as if we were staying in the center of an important European city.
