Perhaps the best view in Bhopal. Heading down to the lake and back up was a great walk. I really loved the art work on display.

Situated in the leafy Shyamla hills, a stones throw from the historic Jehannuma Palace hotel, this was my second stay at Ivy Suites. The room offered a clear view of the lake, and the staff ensured we were most comfortable. The stunning works of art, created by the owners daughter made me wish we had come for longer than just a night.

Wonderful home stay: a beautiful house full of greenery with a stunning view of Bhopal's upper lake. Can't get enough of the view. The food is delicious, and the dinner times are always occasions to meet new people. Owners Manju and Pramod are very friendly and resourceful.

The room and bathroom were a little basic yet comfortable.

Ivy Suites turned out to be the perfect choice for my weekend exploring the city of Bhopal and its neighborhoods. It’s a charming guest house with a warm, personal feel, offering spacious rooms and a lovely common area that overlooks the lake — just like my room did. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us an early check-in and even a late check-out, which was extremely helpful as our return flight was late in the evening. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality! Highly recommended for anyone looking to feel at home away from home

There was a slight musty smell in the room, which is quite common during the monsoon season — nothing serious and it didn’t affect our overall comfort.

It was lovely staying here, lots of great advice and pleasant company. The home cooked food was exceptional and the view over the lake below is beautiful. We would love to stay again and explore more of Bhopal . The hotel is a comforting place to base yourself in Bhopal .
