Close walk to Ganges and ghats. Amazing how quiet and peaceful the generous sized room was. We were even there during the Kumbla Melha festival.

The Staff was exceptional. So hospitable and courteous. They were more than accommodating and helpful. The reason for us to go back to this property would most definitely be their hospitality.

The hospitality was that good that we din bother about the shortcomings.

Some noice should be expected. Basic breakfast.

Interesting room, great bathroom. Fairly quiet given the chaos outside. But very expensive really, not good value - see comments.

Due to meha kumbh access to the hotel by taxi wasn't possible leaving us to walk a 1km with luggage to get there. This isn't the fault of the hotel but they told us access was possible and they should have advised in advance where the taxi should drop us to get closer. Staff had mixed English ability so our request to book a taxi in advance to the airport wasn't understood which meant an even earlier start to make sure we could get an Uber. They did wait with us though to check the Uber arrived. We asked to book a boat via the hotel and initially were told yes, but next day it was do it yourself. To be fair that was easy and cheaper. We were told there was a choice of North and south Indian and continental breakfast, but in reality it was a choice between an omelette or a boiled egg! Bed was hard and uncomfortable and only possible to access from the end, not the side.

Beautiful and comfortable room.

A bit dark, but is well lit.
