"A great place in Central Otago."

This is a historic hotel that has been updated to a quite luxurious accommodation. (Our room was named after Emily Siedeberg, the first woman in New Zealand to graduate from medical school.) Amazing bathrooms. Milk available in refrigerator in the hall outside our room. Great breakfast with opportunity to interact with other guests. Helpful suggestions for places to eat.

No air con, so fan was critical. Some "glitches" in the way the fan ran, but hopefully corrected by now.

Fabulous hotel, nice rooms, comfortable beds, breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Bonus was the lovely garden and lounge areas with comfortable seating.

"Beautiful comfortable unique hotel"

This property is unique, very old and stately. Beautifully kept outdoor space. Lady who runs this hotels special. She lives adjacent and is always available. She is hands on with everything and it all runs smoothly.

Loved everything except we didn’t stay long enough!

"Lovely old world Hotel in a great position for heading out on the bike trails"

Really gorgeous Hotel. Very old world. Lovely guest lounge, outdoor seating area and breakfast room.

Not that we didn’t like anything but just be aware of No TV and No aircon in the rooms. They do have fans though.
