Lovely property feels different and special. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room clean and sympathetic to age of property. Honesty bar gives a relaxed place to enjoy without any pressure. Amazing breakfast.

Everything was excellent and probably the best breakfast menu I have ever seen. Beautiful room, great location, friendly staff. The honesty bar is a very nice touch.

We can't think of anything for us although it is perhaps not the place to stay if you have difficulty going up and down stairs. It is a wonderful old building, several houses joined together so there are a number of steep, old staircases to negotiate.

"The only place to stay in Rye"

the only place to stay in Rye, for that real Oldy world charm right in the centre of everything. cannot recommend enough. the period features but also the excellent staff and great breakfast. Great parking too
