Insulation, you can hear the other guests even with the door closed

Very comfortable room, great continental breakfast, and most of all very gentle and atent personal, would of give an extra star for the restaurant staff. Highly recommend!

We were made welcome from the moment we arrived and every request was granted. We loved the rooms and Damarante appealed to us instantly!!

It's a pity that there are not little fridges or mini bars in the rooms.

We really like the location.

No parking on site. The savoury breakfast items are a little bland for Northern American visitors. A little note that says: please ask for eggs and/or other items and we will be glad to make/provide them for you, would be really helpful.

Perfect small hotel in a perfect small town.

The hotel room was very nice and it a has a large shower. We had a good sleep.

The attitude of the staff was absolutely terrible and this is the reason for our lowest rate! They offer free parking (but only from 20:00 to 08:00 in the morning. (Parking in front is for 3 cars only). We arrived before 20:00 and you have to park outside of the city at a parking and then walk with all your suitcases to the hotel. There was a antique market on the day we arrived so there was NO parking space anywhere in the car park. We read that the hotel had a very nice restaurant and planned to have dinner there. When we arrived at the hotel there was NOT ONE STAFF MEMBER TO BE SEEN! None nobody at all! At the reception was a note with my name and the key. That was it. The restaurant was closed too. There was absolutely nobody to help. We tried too call as we needed some help. Nobody picked up the telephone. We have send messages via Booking.com but nobody actually was there. I asked to cancel my booking but that was not possible. After more than one hour somebody came out of the hotel to speak to me. (So there was staff after all but it was clear that this hotel does not care about giving any service to their guests.) This hotel just takes the money and give no respect to their guests and it shows how terrible the attitude of the hotel and their management was!) Stay out if you are not Italian! They obviously do not want to be involved with guest at all! Nice property but a lack of respect to their paying guests. If the hotel would have send an email (they could have used free google translate) that the restaurant is closed and information about the car park and antique market at least we would have had the choice to stay or cancel our booking. This management deserves my 1 point!
