"A pleasant place for a short stay."

A very friendly and chatty owner along with a good breakfast and comfortable bed, made this a pleasant place for an overnight stop both on our way north into Scotland and again south for our return journey.

A lot of noise from passing traffic when we needed to have the window open.

Everything you could want in this lovely B&B Carolyn the hostess was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Bedroom was very comfortable and very clean and airy.

"One night stay on a trip to Loch Lomond"

Good location. Easy to reach the famous Blacksmith attraction at Gretna Green. Carolyn was a very good host, even though she was feeling a little unwell. She recommended a good pub and a visit to the Devil's Porridge visitor attraction.

"Excellent"

We have stayed here a few times now. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Very good, freshly cooked breakfast. The owner Carolyn is so friendly and welcoming, nothing to much trouble. We would absolutely recommend Prince Charlie's Cottage.
