A wonderful comfy twin room warm even in the winter. Decent warm shower for after a long day out in the cold. A scrummy breakfast from polite and kind people to start the day. A super quiet and calm location, that's far enough from the road to hear no noise.

Missed the turning the first time despite the big B&B sign! The drive outside the front door is very icy in the cold so be careful in the winter! Those are the only things I can think of. It's a great place to stay.

Bathroom was a little cold and bedroom a little small but we’d stay again so not too much of an issue

I stayed there in 2017 and we returned there in 2023. The location in the countryside was relaxing and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and tidy. We enjoyed the breakfasts they were unhurried and really good - cereals, yoghurts, fully cooked Welsh breakfasts, toast and preserves. We hope to return there again, maybe in 2024.

I have no complaints whatsoever about our stay in Oakenholt. The nearest bus stop sign for buses to Flint has been damaged by vandals. We had to be quick on the mark to get busses to stop there.

It’s a beautiful very old building with so much history

Delightful quiet location with warm friendly owners, keen to make my stay comfortable. Room was spacious & scrupulously clean, bed very comfortable with good wifi signal. Loved the cooked breakfast & the friendly banter. Lovely shared lounge area to relax & outside garden area. Easy access to explore northern Wales.

Lovely owners, nice and clean, nice breakfast, beautiful place, would recommend.

Nothing really but hard to get taxis, can't have everything in nice remote location, obviously nothing B&B can do about that.

It’s very quaint and like something from (the darling buds of may ) programs . It’s always welcoming , clean , comfy, and a good breakfast . Can’t fault it .

Beautiful period building in a part of quiet albeit well connected northern Welsh countryside. Lovely hosts. Excellent breakfast. Good internet connection. Ample parking.
