"Freindly staff, great location for us. Shame about the breakfast extras"

8.0

Room was good size, clean and had everything we needed

Paid for full english breakfast at the cost £12.50 per person. Disappointing that this did not include a piece of toast or a cup of tea. They were extra which then put the price of two breakfasts to £33 which in my opinion is very expensive

"Exceptional"

10.0

Excellent facilities in room - iron and board, hair dryer and fridge not always found in small establishments.

The music in the restaurant was intrusive and not conducive to a relaxing meal.

"Nice place to stay, but not many dinner options"

9.0

The room was comfortable, quiet and spacious. The young man who served us breakfast the next morning was very nice.

We were walking, and finding a place to have dinner in Wylam was difficult. We were there on a Tuesday and did not know the Bistro would be closed. So were most of the other pubs and restaurants in town. Thankfully, we arrived at the Fox and Hounds just before they stopped serving dinner at 7! We did have breakfast in the Bistro the next morning but the price was not as reasonable as at most B and Bs where we stayed on the Hadrian’s Wall path.

"Wedding Weekend"

8.0

Room was a very good size - 2 double beds and still lots of room to move around. Very comfortable, and clean. I slept very well! Good shower. Wifi, kettle, TV. Easy walking distance to local shops (2 minutes), and local walks. Nice garden to sit in the sunshine. Nothing not to like.

Parking was on street, and not so close which was OK until it was raining. There were only 2 dedicated spaces close by, but it was in a small village so we understood.

"Excellent"

Excellent room, friendly staff, good food for both breakfast & Dinner. We were walking Hadrians Wall and it was a welcome rest & very comfortable. There are also other places to eat in the village and a local Co-op if you need it.
