Sambatra Bed and Breakfast

This is an excellent place to stay if you want to be right on the water at a quiet and scenic beach with gorgeous sunsets and away from the main tourist drag. The room and bathroom were spacious. The breakfasts were good, though repetitive. I had several excellent dinners there from both the fixed menu and daily specials. The staff is very friendly, and I had several good conversations with one of the hosts (Belgian-Italian couple). Expats come there for meals and to soak up the sun. A local tour organizer is next door, and assisted me with several bookings to outer islands and Lokobe. Nosy Sakatia (giant sea turtles and snorkeling) is right offshore.

The electrical power varied in intensity from time to time, most noticeably at night, but power problems are common in Madagascar.

Emplacement calme , plage sympa .

Notre chambre donnait sur le parking de l'établissement sans terrasse. Le patron a échangé avec nous le dernier soir.

Buona posizione a cui si può accedere a vari servizi come i diving vicini. Prezzi del ristorante onesti e scelta abbastanza vasta. Colazione ok

La cucina purtroppo ha regalato un’intossicazione alimentare al mio ragazzo che ci ha costretti a chiamare il medico e correre nella farmacia più vicina (sicuramente è stata la cucina perchè non abbiamo mai mangiato nulla al di fuori del ristorante e ci lavavamo addirittura i denti con l’acqua in bottiglia). Purtroppo ci sono animali liberi tra cui gatti che vanno in cucina mentre lo staff prepara da mangiare il che forse non è il top dell’igiene. Abbiamo avuto a che fare solo con il proprietario Jan che in generale è stato abbastanza disponibile chiamando subito il medico quando glielo abbiamo chiesto, mentre la moglie non ci ha nemmeno mai degnato di un ciao malgrado siamo stati al B&B per 4 notti. Anche la pulizia delle stanze da rivedere

Die freundliche, entspannte Atmosphäre, die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, die guten Tipps und Hilfsbereitschaft des Eigentümers, das wirklich leckere Essen und das unschlagbare Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das nächste Mal bleiben wir etwas länger! :-)
