Faial Cottage B&B

The B&B was very clean, cosy and furnished with great attention to detail, and there were even fly screens on the windows. It was in a quiet location with a great view of the sea. Our hosts were very warm and friendly and gave us tips on where to eat and things to do. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with homemade bread, freshly brewed coffee, fruits, jam/cheese/ham and cake. We will be very happy to recommend it to others and we love coming back here when we're on Faial!

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in diesem " lovely Place". Wir waren begeistert und genossen die Ruhe und die schöne Meersicht. Der Gastgeber verwöhnte uns sehr mit dem feinen Morgenessen jeden Morgen. Auch das Häuschen ist mit viel Liebe dekoriert und ausgestattet worden. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Das Bett ist sehr gross und die Matratze wunderbar bequem. Auch die Insel hatte uns begeistert und das Wetter war auch gut, manchmal bedeckt, aber wir fanden irgendwo immer die Sonne. Es war schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. Wir empfehlen dieses Cottage sehr!!! Corinne und Tom

Es gab nicht was uns nicht gefallen hätte.

Me encantó la calidez y la cercanía con la que nos acogieron! En cuanto al alojamiento, es ideal, simple, decorado con muy buen gusto y con todo lo necesario! Por otra parte, el desayuno es una pasada, un poco de todo, preparado con detalle! Lo recomiendo 100%, sin duda una experiencia maravillosa para disfrutar de la isla en todos los sentidos.

Am besten gefallen hat uns die Lage, den Atlantik zu überblicken. Zu dem super war das Frühstück, dass die netten Gastgeber uns jeden Morgen gebracht haben. Die Unterkunft hatte auch einen Kühlschrank, so dass man sich Getränke kalt stellen konnte, um diese bei dem Ausblick zu genießen, wenn man abends vom Essen Gehen zurückkommt. Beim Eintreffen war schon vorhanden 1 Flasche Wasser (kostenlos), 2 Weinflaschen und 2 0.2l Bierflaschen und Snackriegel. Ist sinnvoll, für den Anreisetag, wenn man noch nichts besorgen konnte. Eine Möglichkeiten Essen zuzubereiten bestanden im Cottage nicht, was aber kein Problem für uns war.

Everything was perfect! The breakfast, the view, the cottage and the hosts all exceeded our expectations. We felt taken care of and it was in a perfect setting, it was clean, authentic and thoughtful in every detail!

That we couldn't stay longer!

Incredible hospitality from the host. We were made so welcome. A small chalet with, under usual circumstances a sea view, it was cloudy and wet for much of our stay. The chalet studio was immaculate and had everything one needs for a short stay. Wonderful big bed. Parking next to the chalet. Breakfast was provided in a hamper, beautiful with home made products. We left early on our last morning and were kindly provided with a picnic to take with us. We enjoyed the location, a great position on the island, close to a pizza restaurant and small shop. An easy drive to Horta.

Het huisje cosy en zeer netjes. Lekker ontbijt. Sympathieke host met gevoel voor humor die we enorm konden appreciëren.

- The nice talks with the super friendly host. - The breakfast with the homemade bread and lots of coffee - The small charming cottage was perfect for me travelling alone and was just super comfy, clean and cozy with a nice terrasse where you can enjoy the stunning sea view and the lovely garden. - The location in its quite and peaceful rural area but still a few nice bars/restaurants and a grocery store nearby (Xavier).
