The hostess! Laura was wonderful. The place has tons of charm and we liked it very much. Laura was very hospitable and invited us to use all the facilities- the living room and the kitchen.

We would prefer an en-suite bathroom, but we did know upfront that the bathroom is shared, so no complaints.

Convenient location and a charming house. We sat on the porch, sipped wine, and talked quite a while.

Private bathrooms would have been good, but it wasn't busy so that wasn't a problem.

If you are looking for a place with great historic vibes, than Magnolia House & Gardens is your match! Both the house itself & the interior will give you this more Southern pre-war feel. Eightball (the dog) and Americana music during breakfast make the feel complete! Laura is a great host.

Note that the house is located at a quite busy road. Traffic noise can be heard in the bedroom. Also, as mentioned in the provided info: you will be sharing the bathroom with other guests (fortunately there is a back-up bathroom). I guess also this is in line with a more historic experience ;-).
