The Dog House, Penryn

They are a lovely and welcoming couple who run a beautiful home. Not only do they provide excellent service, but they are also very supportive and offer a wealth of advice on Cornwall and Penryn. Their local insights and recommendations greatly enhanced our stay, making it truly memorable. The home is located a 15-minute walk from the Falmouth Penryn Campus. It is a great location for people like me who want to stay close to the university but also need some privacy. The convenient proximity to the campus, combined with the quiet and private setting, makes it an ideal choice for students and academics alike.

Rosemary and Bruce are very friendly and excellent hosts. They've done everything they could to accommodate my needs. The breakfast was amazing.

The time for the breakfast (9am) was not ideal for my work schedule. But we arranged a compromise.

A great example of how things should be done in the hospitality industry. Fantastic property standards cleanliness and service. Wonderful breakfast to set you up for the day, with the best hosts giving you the best welcome. What more could you ask for.

Very beautiful house with lovely garden, and the owners were absolutely wonderful and kind. I was in the area visiting the university and the location was great. Breakfast is cereal and toast before 9, cooked after 9, and if I ever needed any directions or information about the area all I had to do was ask. There was parking on site and as my mobility isn't great that was very helpful, as that part of Cornwall is definitely a hilly area. All in all I absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in the Penryn/Falmouth area. I definitely hope to stay again!

Bruce and Rosemary ensured that the stay felt like a home away from home. Warm welcome with an exceptionally comfortable room and amenities. I'd definitely choose to stay again if I were to visit Penryn for work or leisure.
