House was beautiful inside and out. Sue, the owner was very nice and extremely helpful. A major storm came in that night and she was very concerned that she may lose power and tried to alleviate any concerns about my comfort should power be lost and that I would be okay with the cold overnight. It seemed that power was not lost or if it was, only momentary loses. Sue made a very nice breakfast in the morning. Molly, her dog, made my stay even better...what a little sweetheart. Sue also told me about the Seal Rescue Ireland Visitor Center. If I had the time I would have visited the Center. They do important work. If you stay in the area, I would suggest visiting the Center.

"Comfortable and welcoming."

I was fortunate enough to stay at Woodleigh Lodge whilst visiting my niece who was working as an intern at Seal Rescue Ireland recently. Sue was the perfect host. She was warm and welcoming, her home is spotless and incredibly comfortable, and she’s thought of everything to ensure a lovely stay. As I was travelling by myself, I particularly enjoyed chatting with Sue whilst enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast. It’s the personal touch that sets Woodleigh Lodge apart and a perfect place to stay in Courtown.

Sue was very helpful during our short stay. She advised us on the local attractions etc. Her house is beautiful and an easy walk to the town centre. Breakfast was great too. Sue is easy to get along with and highly recommend staying at Woodleigh Lodge. Thanks again Sue. Matt and Morsey

"Lovely stay"

Sue was the perfect host. The accomdation is so close to where our Granddaughter is on her internship at the Seal sanctuary. We were made so very welcome.
