Lux Aurea

Our room was a lovely size, well equipped and very clean. The windows are incredible and let in so much light; there were no buildings behind us just views of the cliffs and lime trees so we found it to be lovely and quiet. Breakfasts were delicious and ready for 8am every morning which was perfect for us as we went out exploring most days. Perfectly located for those wishing to explore the Sorrento coast and surrounding areas. Just outside of the centre so away from the busyness but great train links so had no trouble getting anywhere. Most importantly, our host Martina was fabulous - very welcoming and friendly and extremely helpful whenever we had questions. She was full of useful tips and even prepared us a breakfast to takeaway on our last day! We would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Sorrento but wishes to avoid the busy centres☺️

Lux Aurea was our best stay in all our vacation. We got a nice and clean room and the breakfast was great. Martina took care of all our needs, always available for us and super generous. Its a mansion owned by the family, very nice and calming place. Theres really good restaurant in the street name "Ninuccia", and near there's transportation everywhere. Highly recommend ☺️

Everything! Very comfortable room with a great view out over Sorrento. Fresh breakfast every morning was delicious. Martina the host is amazing! She was very responsive and gave us lots of recommendations of what to do in the amazing. Highly recommend.

Martina (the host) was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious, and a great location! Martina was verly helpful, if you need inspiration for activaties or places to see in Sorrento / Meta. With any questions, you can message her, and she replies very quickly. Great views, easy access to train station and good local restaurants and shops. Plus there's a great restaurant two doors down called Ninuccio Crocche Gigante, delicious food!

The only downside, is that there is about 10 wide steep steps to get into the building, but once you are in, there is a very convenient lift to whichever floor you need.

The property itself was stunning and had fantastic views of the water.

Amazing property with an unreal view of the coast of sorrento and Meta. Host was super friendly and had the best recommendations for nightlife and day time activities.

This is a great location to see the sights in the Amalfi region. This guesthouse is part of a residential villa and beautifully restored. Martina was very welcoming and very helpful with her recommendations throughout our stay. I loved the breakfasts too.

Lux Aurea is perfect in everything. An old and beautiful house with large rooms, clean and comfortable sheets, impeccable breakfast. Excellent location, close to the train station and bus stops, that makes all the difference. We will not forget about Martina. We welcome your support all the time. Bright and spacious room with a great sea view, fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast was tasty, not very big portions, but for us it was enough. Bed was comfortable, we loved the private parking space as we came with our own car. Definitely good value for money.
