The Property is Illegal and the local law enforcement has banned the property from hosting anyone. They refused to host us when we reached the property. We had to spend a lot of money to find an alternate place to stay and we wasted money reaching the property. It was a horrible experience for us. The property owner did not even contact us to tell us about the issue in advance. They are just refusing people from the gate and making them suffer. Please avoid booking at this Property they don't have a legal License to run a Homestay or Hotel. You might be jailed or you might have to pay a fine to the police. Also, we felt the owner is racist as he questioned us why we don't speak the local language. Later we came to know 90% of the property in Hampi is illegal and can be demolished at any time so please plan your stay at Hosapet City. AVOID THIS PROPERTY.

The owner Sagar B S is found to be very helpful, cordial, flexible and friendly. His hospitality was excellent. He arranged the sightseeing visit for us by calling a nice auto rick owner, Manikanda (honest and tolerant). Manikanda took us safely to more than 30 sightseeing places covering nearly 100 km within two days. Our visit was culminated at a Gift shop that sold local products made out of Banana trees (incl. Banana-silk Sarees). He attended to more or less all issues that we raised during the stay. Fortunately, Air-conditioner worked properly without any issues, except there were a couple of power outages during which ceiling fan saved us from the abnormal heat wave of Hampi. Location is ideal; exactly at the centre of Hampi Town and hardly a few minutes’ walk to Virupaxa Temple, Monolithic Bull, Kadalekaalu Ganesha, Sasive Kaalu Ganesha, Hemakuta Hillock, Krishna Temple, Veera Narasimha Statue, and many other UNESCO heritage listed sites.

In spite of the above mentioned merits, the following demerits of the property have to be articulated honestly. 1. Location is infested with too many monkeys and the surroundings are unclean and the approach road to the property is too narrow. 2. There was no breakfast provided by the home stay. The reason provided by the owner of this property was "unseason" or "off-season". 3. The whole property seems to have been misrepresented with incorrect pics on booking.com. Room was unclean with old and torn pillows, bedspreads, and uncomfortable bed mattress. Attached bathroom had rusted door hinges, leaking toilet gun, faucets, hand shower, sink outlet pipe directly let out on the washroom floor. Water tap of the bedroom sink was found to be loose and unfixed. Rubbish bin did not have a lid. Toiletries were not provided except Medmix soap (2 No.'s). There was no proper ventilation in the washroom. 3. Safety is bit questionable as there was a small padlock for the door which is vulnerable for easy break-in.

Airconditioner not working. Bedding was poor, broken bathroom fittings, TV not working. Loose / missing electrical fittings. Overall sad state. Poor cleanliness. Unrealistic rent.
