Elia Residences Santorini

Fairly located in the island, at a somewhat walking distance to Fira, this apartment is spacious for 2 but can afford 3 persons. It is clean, well equipped (looks like a relatively new construction) and clam. The cleaning has been done after 2 days in, which is a plus. There are restaurants and shops around which is convenient for a stay. All in all, still a good value for the money if the cons are not dealbreakers for you.

Now the pluses stop here, cause there are also some cons. I’m not sure if previous comments on the place are fake or if there has been changes in between but the so-called responsive and advise provider host was nowhere around for us. We’ve have asked questions and got sometimes answers sometimes none and haven’t seen anyone. The comments also mentioned a parking lot, which is inexistant (unless it was referred the one and a half parking space in front of the house where it is indicated “no parking”…?). We were also given a ground floor apartment whereas we had rented the one above (with a terrasse/balcony and sea view); now that’s said it turned out that the ground apartments have a little private backyard that revealed to be perhaps better that the exposed terrasse. It is to be noted that if you come with a car you better have the smallest as you can cause the streets are narrow and it’s hard to park with peace in mind that you’ll find back your car intact. Last but perhaps not least, the neighborhood is not the prettiest of the island, with junk cars and motorbikes here and there, although it is safe.

Everything was great!

The apartment we stayed at, Elia Residences, was on the ground floor and was very spacious, with separate living and bedroom areas. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked fine. It also had a nice private patio. The apartments weren't far from Fira and were within walking distance. There was also a bus stop on the main road which takes you to Fira, so getting around was easy.

Kitchen is not fully equipped as utensils were limited and it was not stocked with basics (salt, pepper, oil etc).

Quiet area and well located. Very good choice and comfortable stay!

There is no parking spot and it’s quite difficult to find a parking spot around at the narrow small streets.

Everything. Place was amazing.

The only nag would be water pressure but really was not a problem at all.

The host, Nikos, was super friendly. He helped us out when our ferry to Santorini was cancelled and gave us valuable information about the island (must see locations & how to get there with local busses). The accommodation was very nice.

Nic is amazing, he is very friendly and helpful. The introduction and recommendation he provided for the entire island is outstanding. Made our trip.

Not at the best side of Santorini

Elia Residences are extremely spacious apartments, with separate living and bedroom. They are clean and well-equipped and our host made us very welcome. We were assisted in hiring private transport and transfers, and were given lots of tips for what to do during our time in Santorini. The apartments aren't far from Fira, but we found the best way to get around was by ATV or car from the apartments.

Nikos is the best host ever! He started being always available and helpful as soon as I booked my trip to Santorini, giving me perfect advices on what to visit and where to go to eat, beaches, etc. The apartment was great, perfect air conditioning, comfortable bed, perfect bathroom and cobfortabke kitchen, and also a nice private terrace. The position was perfect to go everywhere on the island with a motorbike or a car. I would definitely go to Elias apartments again!
