Villa Viridis Bükkalja

We arrived at the villa after leaving the hustle and bustle of Lake Balaton and found ourselves in a wonderfully pastoral and peaceful setting. The owner greeted us warmly after we had corresponded with him on the way. The villa is truly amazing in every way — surrounded by vast green spaces and offering endless outdoor facilities, from covered seating areas to a ping-pong table, sauna, and hot tub. There’s even a meat smoker, and the whole place gives you the unique feeling of being alone in the forest. Inside, the villa is equipped to an exceptionally high standard — absolutely nothing is missing. The kitchen is impressively large and fully outfitted for professional cooking, with a gas stove (which our professional chef friend greatly appreciated over an electric one). Everything was spotless and well-organized. The rooms are spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and inviting, with a separate room for children as well. During our vacation, we stayed in four different villas, and without a doubt, this is the one that will remain in our memories the most. An outstanding place — highly recommended.

We couldn't find a potato peeler :) I think if that's the only problem, the condition of the place is excellent! A place a little far from the tourist area and attractions, but it didn't bother us much.

The food and the sauna were truly excellent.

The place is remote and besides hikes it has not much to offer in the winter.

Fine and enough.

There was no problem.
