Breakfast was wonderful. Great location. Host was very friendly.

We have stayed in many places and this was way up there at the top. Kate the owner is a lovely welcoming lady, her BB is immaculately clean in every area and she must be proud with her achievements. Beautifully decorated throughout and really tasty and well cooked breakfast with a choice. Easy access to town and some really good eateries. Thankyou Kate, we will be back

The single room was small but excellently laid out. Great shower and toilet. Breakfast was delicious. Kate is a lovely person, welcoming, friendly.

It was a bit of a tight squeeze to get from the bed to the bsthroom.

Location was good, easy walk to places to eat. Friendly host. Love the resident cat

The bed was uncomfortable, one side was beat down so badly I literally rolled out of bed during the night. Breakfast was acceptable but was very slow, with only 3 rooms occupied waiting 30 minutes for the coffee was just too long. Also, the water pressure was dismal in room 3 and was unable to control the temperature as there was no control/thermostat in the room

The host Kate was really welcoming and Douglas House is well looked after. The room was comfortable and had a good selection of hot drinks and biscuits. We had great breakfasts on both days with a wide selection available. The communal area was nice with plenty of information about the local area.
